Clear, Transparent Pricing
Our onsite pricing is designed to be easy to understand before work begins. Standard onsite work is based on a base hourly rate, minimum booking periods, time-of-day multipliers, travel distance and any site-specific costs such as parking.
Base Hourly Rate
$150
Per hour, ex GST. Pricing as of July 2024.
Minimum Charge
1 hr
Minimum onsite charge applies to booked onsite attendance.
Billing Increment
30 min / 15 min
Additional time after the minimum period is charged in 30-minute increments after 1 hour and 15 min increments after 2 hours

Onsite Service Rates
Base rate per hour is $150.00 ex GST. The table below shows the applicable rate multiplier, minimum charge and 30-min incremental charge after first hour and 15-minute incremental charge after the second hour.

Booking Conditions
Planned and Unplanned Visits
Minimum of 1 to 2 days advance booking time is preferred.
This service is available to any customer, subject to staff availability and available booking slots.
Cancellations
A cancellation fee equal to the minimum onsite charge will be applied by Approved Systems for any onsite job booking cancelled within 3 hours before the scheduled start time.
Booked Time
Any work requested past the agreed booking time may require a re-book and re-visit.
Our onsite technicians may be booked back-to-back, so our aim is to be on time with all bookings.
Completion of Work
On completion of allocated booking slots, a charge is raised and invoiced. This may apply regardless of whether the work has been fully completed, as unknown or unexpected factors can occur.
Additional Fees and Charges
Travel Distance
Our travel rate is $1.00 per km ex GST outside our 50km radius from dispatch.
Our travel starting location is Fyshwick, ACT 2609.

Parking
If there is a parking fee, we will absorb the first $5.00 and on-charge any additional parking fees.
Approved Systems will always park vehicles in a normal public parking spot unless exclusive parking arrangements have been made with the building or site owner.

Vehicle dimensions are provided for clients with undercover or restricted-height parking spaces. Parking rates can be checked at Parkopedia.
Loading Zones and Parking Fines
While our vehicles may use loading zones, these zones are intended solely for loading and unloading equipment, not for conducting IT services. In the ACT, the maximum time allowed in a loading zone, if no time limit is specified, is 30 minutes.
If an Approved Systems onsite technician is prevented or delayed from moving their vehicle to an appropriate parking space after unloading, and this results in a parking fine, the customer will be responsible for payment of that fine.
To avoid inconvenience, please ensure adequate parking is available when scheduling a service. For example, if a technician is booked for 3 hours but the parking limit is only 1 hour, the technician may need to leave every 50 minutes to relocate the vehicle. The technician remains on the clock while performing this task. If the technician is delayed despite making appropriate efforts to relocate the vehicle, any resulting fines will be charged to the customer..
Full Day / Half Day Rates
We also offer half-day and full-day rates. These require 1 to 2 weeks advance notice and are subject to availability.
Half-day and full-day rates are not available on Public Holidays.
