Scheduled - We have been alerted to a scam email that is being sent to .au registrants impersonating auDA, the .au domain administrator.
The email is requesting personal information including scanned copies of identification documents.
If you receive an email requesting this information, do not reply to it. Instead, please notify ACCC's Scamwatch (https://www.scamwatch.gov.au).
If you have already provided your personal details in response to this scam email, you will need to make a report to your state or territory police force.
auDA will only request this kind of material via us, your registrar.

As part of our ongoing system improvements, we're taking the next step by upgrading our networking hardware which may affect some services from 6AM on Sat Morning (AEST) 'til 10AM. We do not expect the upgrade to take the full four hours, there is a small chance we may need to utilize the full maintenance window to ensure the new hardware is operational & that all services have come back online.
You may see new domain name registration delays as well as changes to domain names within your account (as well as new cPanel and WHM orders). However, our website will remain live throughout as well as our support centres, so please do get in touch should you require assistance during this maintenance window.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding during this window.
In the event the maintenance window needs to be extended, we will post further updates - otherwise please expect the window to complete by midnight.
