Keep your details up to date on the IPND

The Integrated Public Number Database (IPND) is the national register that holds the personal details of all Australian telephone service holders. Your information on the IPND is used by emergency services — including Triple Zero (000) — to identify your location and contact details when you call for help.

If you’ve recently moved, you’re legally required under the Telecommunications Act 1997 to notify your service provider so your address can be updated on the IPND. Providing inaccurate or outdated details can delay emergency response times and affect your safety.
