Even if you’re currently using other specific IT vendors and services, or you currently have your own IT personnel and is not reachable, we can still assist you by providing options and solutions tailored to your needs.
Important Conditions:
All support engagements must be booked in advance and approved by Approved Systems. Unscheduled phone calls, emails or messages (especially outside business hours) will be charged according to the relevant rate simply for taking down your details and scheduling the work.

Service Desk Charges
In today’s fast-paced digital world, technology hiccups can interrupt your flow or bring operations to a standstill. Whether you’re a Managed Service Provider (MSP) client of ours or someone who’s just seeking timely and expert IT assistance, Approved Systems is equipped to step in and deliver.
Our Offerings:
- Scheduled Assistance – Our IT professionals provide support through pre‑booked and approved Work Orders. We don’t offer ad‑hoc or convenience‑based help; all engagements are scheduled and confirmed in advance. This ensures the right expert is available at the right time for your needs.
- Business Software Installation – For complex or business‑critical applications, we’ll remotely guide you through a smooth, error‑free installation. (Personal laptops, home computers and consumer devices aren’t within scope.)
- Troubleshooting & Diagnosis – If you encounter an issue with your organisation’s systems, our specialists can quickly diagnose and resolve it. Unscheduled calls outside business hours will be charged at the applicable rate.
- Consultative Advice & Planning – Need guidance on software choices or best practices? Our team offers informed recommendations tailored to your organisation’s requirements. Advice is provided as part of a scoped engagement, not general convenience support.
- Subject‑Matter Expertise – With specialists across networking, hardware, software and cybersecurity, we connect you to the most suitable expert for your booked task. We do not service personal/home devices or consumer peripherals.
How It Works:
- Book Your Request – Submit a detailed Work Order through our online booking platform, including the problem description, desired timeframe and any relevant credentials. Unscheduled calls or emails do not constitute a booking and may be subject to after‑hours charges.
- Approval & Scheduling – Once your request is received, we’ll confirm the scope and schedule. Only after the Work Order is approved and a time is agreed will an engineer be assigned. If you need to connect outside business hours, we’ll apply the appropriate rates.
- Remote Resolution – At the scheduled time, our expert connects via remote desktop, diagnoses and resolves the issue. This applies to business systems and devices under service agreements; personal or home computers are outside our scope.
Note: We’re here for both existing MSP clients and ad‑hoc customers—but all work is delivered through approved bookings.

Onsite Service Charges

In the dynamic realm of IT, some problems need a technician on site. Approved Systems offers onsite support for pre‑booked, scoped work only. We don’t provide convenience visits or consumer device repairs; all tasks are delivered under a formal Work Order.
What We Offer:
- Scheduled, prompt response: Our subject‑matter experts (SMEs) typically attend within 1–2 days, subject to availability. On‑call or immediate dispatch is not provided unless specifically contracted.
- Wide regional coverage: We serve Canberra, surrounding regions and the far south coast of NSW. Remote areas may incur travel surcharges.
- Collaborative support: If you already engage another IT provider, we can work alongside them. Our role is to add expertise and extra hands, not to take over or overlap on convenience tasks.
- Comprehensive business service: We handle servers, networks, hardware and other business infrastructure. Personal laptops, home computers and peripheral repairs are outside our scope.
How Onsite Support Works:
- Request & Scope: Submit a detailed Work Order outlining the issue, your location and any special requirements. Unscheduled calls or emails do not automatically trigger a visit.
- Booking & Confirmation: We’ll schedule a visit based on SME availability and urgency. You’ll receive a confirmed date and time; after‑hours or weekend visits follow the published pricing matrix and require approval.
- Onsite resolution: Our expert arrives at the appointed time, diagnoses the issue and works to resolve it with minimal disruption. Should additional work be required beyond the agreed scope, we’ll discuss and book a follow‑up session.
